Would a home-use sewing machine be adequate for embroidering 10 dozen polo shirts? As simple as our craft may be seen, only experienced professionals can control the nuances required to produce quality images.   With a combined four-decades worth of printing experience UCP staff have continue to excel in creating quality embellishments. We use Vastex, ROQ, Riley Hopkins, Roland, ZSK, Epson, Wilflex, Stahls and other industry-leading brands to create amazing results with screen printing, embroidery, DTG, CAD-cut vinyl and full-color heat printing.

FULLY AUTOMATED PRESSES

Featuring two state-of-the-art ROQ NEXT automated presses allow us to produce premium quality that our clients deserve.  Equipped with intuitive touch-screen control panels and programmable interface that controls every aspect of the print process with precision and swift efficiency, these presses provide the competitive advantage that brings savings to our clients.  In addition our presses have the ROQ Iron installed to render the softest hand (smoothest) graphic on garments.  

MANUAL 6C/4S

How all screen printing craftsmen master the trade.  Hand crafting somehow adds a touch of uniqueness to every print.  Our -color Riley Hopkins press allows us to add that personal touch to each of our prints.  

HEAT PRINTING

Roland Digital Systems

UCP heat printing department is equipped with highly regarded Roland output devices.    Experts at print and cut as well as CAD vinyl heat printing technologies, we can create awesome effects on garments with myriad options and produce stunning decals for indoor/outdoor applications. 

Durable, Tested Materials

Our heat printing materials are carefully curated from leading manufacturers like Stahls and Chemica.  From glow-in-the-dark substrates to a large selection of CPSIA-certified glitter flake special effect materials, you will have a heightened admiration for UCP's high level of heat printing.

Multiple Heat Presses

Washability, or the durability of the decoration on the garment, is dependent on the heat printing techniques as much as the substrates themselves.  We use multiple industry-leading Stahls, GeoKnight and Insta heat presses to make sure heat printing is performed at the right temperature and pressure.

DTG (Direct-to-Garment)

OEKO-TEX

Provided by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology, the  Oeko-Tex fabric safety standard ensures that the certifeid fabrics and materials pose no risk to human health.

DTG

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) technology is a printing method in which aqueous-based inks are digitally printed directly onto garments.  Whereas conventional means of producing full-color graphics entail sophisticated color separations into 4 distinct process colors (CMYK), the DTG technoogy allows instantaneous printing of full-color images using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.   While most DTG is intended for 100% cotton fabric, much research is being done to make DTG compatibile with all fabric types. At UCP, we utilize Epson's propreitary equipment and their OEKO-TEX certified inks to yield the highest washability rated DTG prints in the industry. 

Embroidery

Quality Digitizing

Digitizing is a process in which a graphic image is converted to stitch format.  Embroidery is solely composed of linear stitches of varying length. Translation, digitizers must have extensive embroidery understanding to program the lengths and orders of stitches to match the contours of the graphics. 

ZSK Sprint | Racer

Quality embroidery is a product of great digitizing and quality machine.  We use the respected ZSK embroidery machines from Germany.  Single-head, large field Sprint 6 and Racer 4S multi-head embroidery machines grace our embroidery department.

Versatile Hooping

Embroidery is a quite discriminating production process.  Certain substrates pose challenges for embroidery, so we utilize industry-leading Madeira threads along with Allied, Mighty-Hoop, Durkee and Hooptech hooping systems and accessories to accommodate the discerning needs of our clients.
